About Us
We are a member-based organisation that is dedicated to championing regional women. Providing the opportunity to build relationships and develop friendships and business alliances.
We believe all women can embrace who they are,
can define their future, and can change the world.
Our Story
The Adelaide Hills Women’s Network (AHWN) began with a simple but powerful idea—connection. Francine Traegar, having recently moved from the country and not knowing anyone in the area, sought out companionship and support.
She started meeting with a few local ladies over dinners, and those casual gatherings soon blossomed into something much bigger. As the group grew, Francine realised the potential for their collective energy to make a difference in the community. This lead to the official formation of AHWN as a not-for-profit organisation, with a mission to raise funds for local charities. What began as a way for Francine to find community has evolved into a network that empowers women and uplifts the Adelaide Hills through friendship, support, and giving back.

Our Mission
To connect women with like minded women for them to feel supported, encouraged and inspired and give them a platform to build friendships.
Not For Profit
We are a not-for-profit organisation. Whenever we are able, we give back to a worthy cause or charity. Who we donate to, is voted by the committee.
Our Committee
Our committee functions as a group who share equal responsibility for running the network and organising our events.
